Rosemarino d’Italia Donating Percentage of Sales to Typhoon Haiyan Relief

Promotion runs through Thursday, Nov. 21.

Rosemarino d’Italia is reaching out to help the victims of Typhoon Haiyan (or Yolanda, as it’s referred to in the Phillippines) through Thursday, Nov. 21.

The Italian restaurant located at 1905 Mount Vernon Ave. in Del Ray is donating 10 percent of its total sales through Thursday to relief efforts.

Typhoon Haiyan entered the Philippines on Nov. 6 and caused massive destruction. The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs has suggested as many as 13 million people have been affected by the typhoon. Records of fatalities range between 3,600 and 4,200, according to NBC World News.
