About Michael

STRONG BUSINESS ACUMEN

Michael is an energetic, innovative, and creative, young professional with high quality client relations experience gained from working with parents, students, small/medium businesses, professional athletes, public officials and even corporate entities. He has developed a unique set of skills due to his work experience in Higher Education, Sales/Retail Management, and the Sports Entertainment industries.

PERSEVERANCE & COMMITMENT

Born and raised in the Little Haiti section of Miami, Florida one of Miami’s poorest neighborhoods. Michael grew up living in a public housing complex with his sister and a single mother who made sure that he never viewed his surroundings as a reason for him to fail – her philosophy was his environment should make him want to succeed. Therefore, Michael did just that – he has excelled both academically and professionally from graduating with his Bachelor of Science Degree in Sports Management, to working for the National Football League Players Association. Michael unique profile exudes a different type of persona rather than same old business as usual approach that voters adamantly disagree with.

CIVIC ACTIVIST & YOUNG PHILANTHROPIST

Service is the backbone of who Michael is – at a very young age the concept of giving back has always been a high priority. As a Silver Knight Award Recipient and former FIU Student Government President – Michael’s unwavering commitment to service is apparent with his current initiatives. He currently serves on the City of Alexandria Economic Opportunities Commission, Alexandria Public Schools Career and Technical Education Advisory Committee and is a member of nine other civic clubs and organizations located in Alexandria, Virginia.

MAKING A DIFFERENCE

Michael’s philosophy towards being an effective leader is simple. “When you have an opportunity to make a difference in someone’s life – you should… And he intends to do just that.”
