Well, Jason, is Sean supposed to have all the finances in his name or can his significant other not send his own money? Heck, most heterosexual couples have situations where each partner in the marriage has their own checking account - and then they have a joint checking account - I'm sure it's probably the same for Sean and his significant other. It's pretty narrow to think that everyone has a joint checking account and follows all the money smh.

Boyd Walker will not end up on the Council - several Moderate/Blue Dog Dems, like myself, would vote for Frank Fannon before Walker even would have a chance at that ridiculous scenario.

With all due respect, Bud, I believe that Sean didn't know anything about this - this is too obvious of a money trail - too obvious in that the trail was to his partner - I think that if Sean had more of a direct hand in this, the PAC would have been tied to someone else that he wasn't close to - he'd try to cover it up more. Alas, this is the way it came out and it's an unfortunate scandal.

I can’t say that it elevated Boyd Walker (whose signs are in front of the Fox Chase apartments – the roach apartments one should call them) – the average Alexandria resident probably just got a chuckle out of the flyer – I know that I laughed a bit.

I don’t think that Boyd Walker has enough broad-based support to get elected in the general election even if he did win one of the six slots in the June 12 primary. My take on this as a moderate Democrat (I’m from North Dakota after all – and we tend to be pragmatic) is that if somehow Boyd Walker had an extreme upset and won one of the June 12 primary slots: 1:) He would lose in the General. 2.) Many Dems would crossover and vote for Frank Fannon (who has served the city well – I would absolutely vote for Fannon over Walker – I have no trouble saying this).
