The big event in downtown Alexandria this weekend is the 32nd annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The parade is this Saturday, March 2, in Old Town. The festivities start with a classic car show at 10 a.m., the Fun Dog Show at Market Square at 10:30 a.m. The parade itself starts at 12:30 p.m. See a map of the parade route here. Saturday’s weather is expected to be mostly cloudy with a high of 44 degrees and a very slight chance of rain.
