10:50 a.m. update — According to a City of Alexandria spokesperson, Virginia American Water notified the city that the water service outages are expected to be only "temporary" while repairs are being made. — — — — Warwick Village and other nearby residents are experiencing irregular water service Saturday morning following a water main break on Sycamore Street near its intersection with Landover Street. Virginia American Water crews arrived on the scene around 9 a.m., about an hour after the break was reported.
