Police Seek Fugitive After Tysons Footchase

Man, "armed and dangerous," wanted for multiple felonies around the area, police say

A man wanted for multiple felonies across several Washington area jurisdictions escaped Fairfax County police officers at Tysons Corner Mall on Saturday, prompting the agency to ask residents for information and offer a reward for help. Officers have characterized the fugitive, Todd Michael Corrado, 39, as "armed and dangerous," according to a statement released by the department Monday. Police say he is often seen around Annandale and Alexandria in addition to Tysons Corner. Corrado was spotted browsing the Barnes & Noble Bookstore in the mall around 12:30 p.m. Saturday by the Fairfax County Police Fugitive Unit, prompting a footchase through the mall and eventually an upper-level parking garage.
