Del Ray's Favorite Bob Marley Songs
Reggae great would have turned 68 on Wednesday.
Bob Marley would have been 68 years old on Wednesday. To mark the occasion, I asked Del Ray Patch Facebook and Twitter followers to offer their favorite tunes from the late reggae great. I went with 1973’s “Stir It Up” mainly for the guitar solo, but it was a really tough call. Dairy Godmother Freezer Photo Makes its Way to Packers Star
Green Bay nosetackle BJ Raji is using a photo of the decorated freezer at Del Ray's frozen custard as his Twitter avatar.
Green Bay Packers nosetackle BJ Raji has a thing for The Dairy Godmother, even if he’s never been to Del Ray’s frozen custard shop. The Packers’ big man, nicknamed “The Freezer,” has a photo of the Godmother’s icebox as his Twitter avatar. During the Packers’ 2011 run to the Super Bowl, superfan and shop owner Liz Davis adorned her freezer with green tape spelling out Raji’s last name and jersey number. Raji's Twitter handle is "rajifreezer90," making the photo a perfect fit.
