Alexandria Police Seeking Help Identifying Larceny Suspects

Two male suspects involved in the larceny of three Rolex watches from King's Jewelry.

The Alexandria Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying suspects involved in the larceny of three Rolex watches valued at more than $37,000 from King’s Jewelry.  At 10 a.m. Sept. 6, two suspects entered the business located at 609 King St., pulled out hammers from underneath their jackets and smashed two display cases. An employee heard the commotion and chased the suspects out of the store. No one was injured inside the business. One suspect is described as a black male in his late teens, 5-foot-8 to 6-0, with a medium build. He was wearing jeans and a blue hooded jacket made by Helly Hansen. Police Arrest Suspect in Stolen Ring Case

Cedric William Earles allegedly stole a $25,000 ring from King's Jewelry in July.

Police last week arrested Cedric William Earles for the alleged theft of a $25,000 ring stolen from King’s Jewelry in July. Earles was arrested through cooperation between the Alexandria Police and the Metropolitan Washington D.C. Police departments. Earles, 50, was arrested at his residence in Washington and was charged with grand larceny. He is being held in Washington pending extradition to Alexandria. Cari Stribling, who works at the shop and whose father owns it, told Patch she is "very thankful on the progress that's been made in the case." Stribling added that Alexandria police Det. Police Seek Help Identifying Jewelry Theft Suspect

Diamond and platinum ring valued at more than $25,000 went missing from King's Jewelry on July 24.

The Alexandria Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a theft last month from King’s Jewelry in Old Town. At 3:20 p.m. on July 24, a suspect described as a bald, black male in his 40s standing between 5-foot-10 and 6-1 and weighing approximately 185 pounds entered the business located at 609 King Street. The suspect asked to look at diamond rings and took a platinum and diamond ring valued at more than $25,000.    The suspect had a mustache and was wearing wire-rimmed glasses, an off-white long-sleeve polo shirt, blue jeans and black and brown boots. The suspect also had a tattoo on the left side of his neck that included the words “Sigma Forever” and possibly another word, according to police. …
