Heading somewhere for the holidays? A few tips to keep kids safe and parents sane.

Thanksgiving is the biggest travel holiday of the year, and getting around with small kids is an art. Here are a few tips to help your holiday travels run safely and smoothly: • Whether you’re headed to a relative’s house or a hotel, there’s a good chance your temporary home wasn’t designed with your little one in mind. Make sure to pack a few baby proofing items, such as outlet covers. A roll of masking tape can do multiple jobs, including covering outlets, taping drawers shut, securing loose cords and turning a hand towel into a makeshift corner cushion or a finger pinch guard.
