Steven Claremon was named winner of "High on the Hog" eating challenge Thursday night at Pork Barrel BBQ in Del Ray as part of DC Meat Week. Pork Barrel BBQ debuted its "High on the Hog" eating challenge with a timed contest between three competitors. The winner was Steven Claremon, who devoured all of the following in 45 minutes flat: Now anyone who wants to take the "High on the Hog" challenge and attempt to beat Claremon’s record can do so by giving advance notice to the restaurant. Contest rules: If someone completes the challenge, they will receive a t-shirt, a $50 gift card to Pork Barrel BBQ, and their name in the “High on the Hog Challenge” Hall of Fame.
