Five Local Leaders to be Recognized at Business Philanthropy Summit
The event will be held May 4 at the First Baptist Church on King Street.
Five local leaders will be recognized as part of Spring for Alexandria and presented at the 14th annual Business Philanthropy Summit on May 4. The summit, held at First Baptist Church on King Street, attracts more than 300 businesses, nonprofit organizations, elected officials and city agencies. The following awardees will be honored: 2012 Large Business Philanthropist of the Year BB&T, Lighthouse Project Accepting the Award: John Reiter, senior vice president; and Jen Ferrara, vice president, business deposit officer BB&T's Lighthouse Project is a company-wide program designed to engage employees to be a force for positive change in their own communities.
