Restaurant Week Choices in Del Ray and Arlandria

Five neighborhood restaurants participating in 10-day event.

Alexandria Winter Restaurant Week kicks off Friday with more than 50 eateries in the city offering $35 three-course dinners or $35 dinners for two. In the Del Ray-Arlandria area, five restaurants are participating in the 10-day event that coincides with presidential inauguration celebrations. Alexandria Restaurant Week Joins Presidential Inauguration Celebrations

Kicking off inaugural weekend and lasting for 10 days, more than 50 eateries are offering $35 three-course dinners or $35 dinners for two.

Alexandria is celebrating the upcoming presidential inauguration with a special edition of Restaurant Week. Kicking off inaugural weekend and lasting for 10 days, Jan. 18 -27, Alexandria’s presidential hotspots and more than 50 eateries are offering $35 three-course dinners or $35 dinners for two. According to the Alexandria Convention and Visitors Association, Alexandria’s presidential culinary connections include: Barack Obama and the First Family — Several of the Obamas' Alexandria eateries are participating in Restaurant Week.

Restaurant Week Will Showcase 55 Alexandria Establishments

Alexandria is hosting its popular Restaurant Week with 55 participating restaurants offering specials from Aug. 17-26. Restaurants will offer either a $35 three-course prix-fixe dinner or a $35 dinner for two. First-time restaurant week participants include Society Fair and Layla’s Lebanese Restaurant. Alexandria Restaurant Week Receives Mixed Reviews

Restaurants throughout the city participated in the winter event

The Alexandria Convention and Visitors Association is receiving positive feedback from local restaurants that participated in the winter Alexandria Restaurant Week, which ended Jan. 22. “We do see an increased amount of business during the restaurant week program, as well as an increase in NEW clientele,” Rebecca Beard of A la Lucia Restaurant, located at 315 Madison St. in Old Town, commented in response to an ACVA survey. John Kurtz with Southside 815, at 815 South Washington St. in Old Town, commented to the ACVA that out of a possible four stars, “Restaurant week is always a 4 star promo for us. I try to take advantage of Restaurant Week. I look for opportunities to try new restaurants at a good price, and I've actually found some restaurants through special offers that I return to frequently. It's my opinion that the specials offered in Alexandria for Restaurant Week generally aren't compelling enough for me to check out new places. Alexandria to Host Summer Restaurant Week in August

Special prices at participating restaurants Aug. 19-28

Sixty-two restaurants are participating in Alexandria Summer Restaurant Week to be held Aug. 19-28. Participating restaurants throughout the city will feature a $35 prix-fixe three-course dinner or $35 dinner for two. Restaurant Week menus and online reservations are available on VisitAlexandriaVA.com. Diners can enjoy the fare at La Bergerie, A la Lucia, Tempo, Cheesetique, Jackson 20, Grape + Bean and many other fine dining and casual dining options. The 10-day event is the second time Alexandria Restaurant Week has been offered in the summer. Alexandria Restaurant Week was launched in 2009 and is coordinated by the Alexandria Convention & Visitors Association. The event is free for participating restaurants.
