How Much Money Has Each Council Candidate Raised?
Patch follows the money in this year's City Council election.
More than $461,660 has been raised for the 2012 Alexandria City Council election, according to new campaign finance reports published by the Virginia Public Access Project. The figures below in the first chart reflect amounts raised by each Democratic candidate's primary campaign from Jan. 1 through March 31. The Democratic primary will be held June 12 when voters will chose six Democratic candidates to appear on the general election ballot in November. It's political news, Doug, not gossip. I saw public figures in a public place in a political setting and reported what I saw. The people I mentioned were congregated with a Republican group for the specific purpose of beringing attention to their candidacy. The had signs, stickers, etc. They were marching in a parade!
