Library fundraiser moves outdoors on Saturday with blowout tent sale.
The Duncan Library fall book sale opens to the public Thursday, Oct. 17 when the Alexandria library branch opens for business.
The sale kicked off Wednesday night with a preview sale for Friends of Duncan Library members.
Book prices range from $1 to $3 for adult and children’s titles. Some media will also be available for purchase.

The sale then runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
On Saturday, the sale will move outdoors to a giant tent sale in the library's parking lot. During the final two hours of the Saturday sale, shoppers can fill a bag of books for just $5. The Friends of Duncan Library will provide the bag.

All money raised during the sale will be used to support operations at Duncan Library.
