Second Movie in Cinema Del Ray Series Set for Saturday Night

Grab your blankets and lawn chairs. The second in the Cinema Del Ray series continues this coming Saturday night with an outdoor screening of "Despicable Me 2."
For the 10th consecutive year, local Realtor Jen Walker is screening family films outdoors and free of charge in the field next to Mount Vernon Recreation Center on the third Saturday of the month, from May to August.
After Saturday's screening, the 2014 summer schedule will continue with:
- July 19 — "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2"
- Aug. 16 — "The Lego Movie"
For the screenings, attendees can begin arriving at 7 p.m. with the films scheduled to start at dusk. Folks are invited to bring blankets and lawn chairs to sit down and get comfortable for the movie. Pets are not permitted. Popcorn, candy and soda will be for sale.
