The T.C. Williams football team fell to South County 44-37 at Parker-Gray Memorial Stadium Saturday in a game that featured big plays and a heartbreaking finish for the Titans, according to The Washington Post.

The Titans (4-2, 2-1 Patriot District) couldn’t capitalize on 13 penalties for 135 yards from the Stallions (5-1, 3-0 Patriot), despite a huge day from senior tailback Malik Carney.

Carney, a North Carolina commit, rushed for 233 yards and two scores on 15 carries. He found the end zone on runs of 89 and 85 yards, helping the Titans dig out from a 21-0 first-quarter deficit.
