Titans Halt Losing Skid

T.C. Williams beats West Springfield for first win since August.

The T.C. Williams High School football team halted its five-game losing skid on Saturday with a 24-7 win over West Springfield at Parker-Gray Stadium, according to The Washington Post.

Titans tailback Dealo Robertson rushed for 185 yards on 33 carries in the victory, including a 13-yard touchdown run in the second quarter.

Quarterback Alec Grosser connected with Terry Jordon on a 51-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter and a 4-yard pass to Julius Cooper in the third quarter.

Zach Eisenhour scored a 20-yard field goal for the Titans (2-5, 1-3 Patriot District) in the second quarter.

The Titans had not won since defeating Wakefield 73-0 on Aug. 30.

The Spartans (5-2, 3-1 PD) fumbled five times in the loss.

T.C. Williams plays host to Annandale on Oct. 20 for its next game. Kickoff is at 1 p.m.
