The football team fell to Westfield 55-28 on Saturday at Parker-Gray Stadium, according to The Washington Post.
Quarterback Chris Mullins and wide receiver Devon Burns connected on three touchdowns for the Bulldogs (2-0). Westfield tailbacks Tyler Thrasher-Walker and Dalaun Richardson rushed for 119 yards and 104 yards, respectively, with each one scoring a touchdown.
Senior quarterback Alex Grosser threw three touchdown passes for the Titans (1-1).
Grosser connected with Landon Moss for a 20-yard touchdown strike in the second quarter and a 3-yard pass in the third. Grosser also hit Julius Cooper for a 73-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter.
Senior tailback Dealo Robertson found the end zone for the Titans in the fourth quarter.
The Titans travel to face Robinson (0-2) in Fairfax on Friday. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m.
