Bruins Halt Titans 21-7

The T.C. Williams High School football team dropped its fourth straight game Friday night, falling 21-7 on the road to Lake Braddock in Burke, according to the Washington Post.

Quarterback Alec Grosser scored the Titans’ lone touchdown on a 4-yard run in the second quarter. Grosser completed 13 of 31 passing attempts for 145 yards in the loss. Senior receiver Landon Moss caught nine passes for 118 yards.

Tailback Malik Carney rushed for 136 yards on 26 carries for the Titans (1-4).

Lake Braddock (3-2) was led by quarterback Caleb Henderson, who completed 17 of 34 passes for 170 yards and two touchdowns—a 21-yard reception by Aaron Hollins in the second quarter and another 21-yard reception from Austin Wolfe in the third quarter.

Hollins capped the scoring for the Bruins with a 96-yard run in the fourth.

The Titans travel to play W.T. Woodson in Fairfax on Oct. 6. Kickoff is at 1:30 p.m.
