How do you think the new office complex will affect Alexandria?

Earlier this week, the Arlington County Board approved a plan that will consolidate Boeing’s East Coast headquarters into a new office complex to be built just north of Alexandria near Crystal City.

that Arlington officials addressed several concerns with the plan, including strains on the area’s transportation system and Boeing’s illuminated signs.

Under the agreement, Boeing will be required to promote public transit, install a Capital Bikeshare station on-site and issue employees a $60 Metro farecard. The strain on rush-hour peaks is projected to be fewer than 600 people.
