  • AT 1: Elimination of peak period extension along Eisenhower Avenue and the Saturday extension between Eisenhower and King Street Metro, via Carlyle;
  • AT 8: Weekday peak period service will increase frequency to every 10 minutes between Landmark Mall and the King Street Metrorail Station;
  • AT 8: Weekday midday service will increase frequencies to every 30 minutes along the entire route;
  • And AT 10: Weekday service will increase service hours and end approximately one hour later and Saturday service will start approximately one hour earlier and end one hour later.

DASH had originally proposed limiting King Street Trolley service from every 15 minutes to every 20 minutes, a proposal which was regarded unfavorably by the Alexandria Transportation Commission. A final decision on trolley service headways will go before Alexandria City Council, a DASH spokeswoman said.

The final approval to changes will come from Alexandria City Council during its May 6 work session, said DASH spokeswoman Allison Teevan.

A new DASH Ride Guide, with a green cover, will be available to download in mid-June on www.dashbus.com.
