Updated: Police Take Suspect into Custody in Four Mile Road Incident

Update — The two men who were severely injured Friday in the 500 block of Four Mile Road in Arlandria were discovered wounded in a work van, according to The Washington Post.

The injured men did not suffer gunshot wounds, according to the Post. Detectives were still attempting to determine how they were injured.

Police received a call alerting them to the injured men in the van early Friday evening.

Alexandria police have taken a suspect into custody related to Friday night's incident in the 500 block of Four Mile Road, according to the Alexandria Police Department. 

The incident sent two male victims to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. They remain in criticial condition.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
