Police Seek Help Identifying Person of Interest in Harris Case

According to the Alexandria Police Department, a black male used Harris' credit card on King Street hours after the community activist was last seen.

The Alexandria Police Department released a photo Monday afternoon of a person of interest in the case involving the .

According to the police, the person of interest used the Harris’ credit card on King Street shortly after 1 a.m. on Sept. 22, hours after Harris was last seen.

Police are asking for help identifying the person of interest, who is described as a black male with muscular build and tattoos on both forearms. He also has a mustache and a small goatee.

Harris, 53, was last seen about 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Charles Houston Recreation Center. Police found his cell phone on the Woodrow Wilson Bridge the next day and sent out an alert to say he could be endangered.
