Police Respond to Incident at Mount Vernon Community School
Alexandria and Arlington police investigate apparent break-in at Del Ray school.
Alexandria and Arlington police responded to a call of an apparent break-in at Mount Vernon Community School Saturday morning.
MVCS Principal Peter Balas sent out the following message to parents:
On Saturday, at approximately 9:30am, Alexandria Police were on MVCS campus in response to a call of an apparent break-in. Police from both Alexandria and Arlington were on site and searched the building with K-9 support. I walked the building after the official search with the police. All is clear. No further information at this time.
