Police Reports: Vehicle Thefts in the Del Ray Area

Note: The addresses listed below indicate blocks and not specific addresses of incidents. Where an arrest is mentioned, it does not necessarily indicate a conviction.

Sept. 7

12:30 p.m. — A theft from a vehicle was reported in the 100 block of Luna Park Drive.

Sept. 6

7:32 p.m. — A breaking-and-entering incident was reported in the 900 block of Manor Road.

3:49 p.m. — A theft was reported in the 500 block of E. Howell Avenue.

Sept. 5

12:49 a.m. — A suspect was arrested for public drunkenness in Auburn Court.

Sept. 4

9:04 a.m. — An arrest was made for assault in the 200 block of E. Oxford Avenue.

10:43 p.m. — A vehicle theft was reported in the 100 block of Luna Park Drive.

Sept. 3

7:51 p.m. — A theft was reported in the 2200 block of King Street.

9:18 a.m. — A laptop was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 1900 block of Commonwealth Avenue. The rear window of the vehicle had been smashed.

7:20 a.m. — Money was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 200 block of W. Windsor Avenue.

Sept. 2

9:40 p.m. — An assault was reported at the corner of Cedar and King streets.

3:02 a.m. — An assault was reported in the 3700 block of Mark Drive.

Sept. 1

5:59 p.m. — A suspect was charged with illegal possession of alcohol in the 200 block of W. Glebe Road.

Aug. 31

3:25 p.m. — Two unknown suspects were seen entering a residence on E. Reed Avenue and stealing cash, iPhones and a GPS unit.

Aug. 30

2:54 p.m. — A property crime was reported in the 100 block of W. Cedar Street.

12:08 p.m. — A theft was reported in the 1500 block of Wayne Street.

9:35 a.m. — A vehicle theft was reported in the 1700 block of Commonwealth Avenue.

Aug. 29

11:30 p.m. — A traffic stop in the 1500 block of Mount Vernon Avenue resulted in an arrest for driving under the influence. 

7:24 p.m. — An arrest was made for trespassing and a liquor-law violation in the 2500 block of Dewitt Avenue.

2:18 p.m. — Two locked bicycles were reported stolen from E. Linden Street.

11:46 a.m. — A theft was reported in the 200 block of Summers Drive.

Aug. 28

8:10 p.m. — Jewelry and a bicycle were reported stolen from an apartment in a breaking-and-entering incident near the intersection of Russell Road and W. Windsor Avenue.
