Police Reports: Thefts, Assaults in the Del Ray Area

Note: The addresses listed below indicate blocks and not specific addresses of incidents. Where an arrest is mentioned, it does not necessarily indicate a conviction.

June 14 — An arrest was made for theft at 9:22 p.m. in the 3100 block of Jefferson Davis Highway.

June 14 — An arrest was made for obstruction of justice at 9:42 p.m. in the 100 block of Dale Street.

June 14 — An assault was reported at noon in the 3000 block of Fulton Street.

June 13 — An arrest was made for a drug offense at 11:45 p.m. in the 1100 block of Mount Vernon Avenue.

June 13 — An assault was reported at 6:31 p.m. in the 1000 block of Mount Vernon Avenue.

June 13 — An arrest was made for a liquor law violation at 3:33 p.m. in the 2500 block of Commonwealth Avenue.

June 12 — Arrests were made for assault and drunkenness at 8:38 p.m. in the 200 block of Lynhaven Drive.

June 12 — Theft and destruction of property offenses were reported at 3:09 p.m. in the 3400 block of Jefferson Davis Highway.

June 12 — A theft was reported at 12:09 p.m. in the 2200 block of Mount Vernon Avenue.

June 11 — Change was reported stolen from the interior of a locked vehicle parked in the 1700 block of Price Street.

June 11 — An arrest was made for disorderly conduct at 12:45 p.m. in the 1000 block of Mount Vernon Avenue.

June 11 — A rear passenger-side window of a victim’s vehicle was broken and change was reported stolen from the automobile at 11:57 a.m.

June 10 — An assault was reported at 4:10 p.m. in the 500 block of Four Mile Road.

June 10 — At 2:57 p.m., a victim reported an unknown suspect or suspects attempted to hacksaw a key control box in an attempt to enter a residence in the 500 block of Fontaine Street.

June 9 — A boy’s bicycle was reported stolen at 11:02 a.m. from the bike rack in the rear of George Washington Middle School.

June 9 — A victim reported being stabbed by his girlfriend at 7:41 p.m. in the 100 block of Dale Street. Arrests were made for assault and narcotics offenses.

June 8 — Arrests were made for drunk in public and narcotics violations at 2:50 a.m. in the 3900 block of Executive Avenue. 

June 7 — An arrest was made for shoplifting at 4:03 p.m. in the 3100 block of Jefferson Davis Highway.

June 6 — An arrest was made for possession of marijuana at 9:35 p.m. in the 600 block of Notabene Drive. 

June 6 — A victim reported at 6:36 p.m. that their identity had been stolen and used for fraudulent activity.

June 6 — A vehicle parked in the 200 block of E. Del Ray Avenue was entered by unknown means and cash was reported stolen at 2:02 p.m.

June 6 — Two arrests were made for liquor law violations at 4:11 a.m. in the 3200 block of Commonwealth Avenue.
