Police Reports: Burglaries and a Robbery in the Del Ray Area

The Alexandria Police Department reported the following crimes in the Del Ray-Rosemont-Arlandria area of Alexandria.

Note: The addresses listed below indicates blocks and not specific addresses of incidents. Where an arrest is mentioned, it does not necessarily indicate a conviction.

April 25 — A theft was reported at 4:05 p.m. in the 400 block of W. Glebe Road.

April 25 — A theft was reported at 10:35 a.m. in the 3900 block of Courtland Circle.

April 24 — An arrest was made for a sexual offense at 7:08 p.m. in the 1400 block of Hancock Avenue.

April 24 — A theft was reported at 10:43 a.m. in the 400 block of W. Glebe Road.

April 24 — A theft was reported at 7 a.m. in the 400 block of Tennessee Avenue.

April 24 — An arrest was made for assault at 12:07 a.m. in the 500 block of Four Mile Road.

April 23 — A victim reported at 8:58 p.m. her bicycle was stolen from a locked storage room in her apartment complex in the 400 block of Commonwealth Avenue. 

April 23 — An incident of vandalism was reported at 7:30 p.m. in the 200 block of Tennessee Avenue.

April 23 — A burglary was reported at 4:08 p.m. in the 700 block of Wayne Street.

April 23 — At 1:59 p.m., cash was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the driveway of a residence in the 800 block of Russell Road.

April 23 — A suspect was arrested for being drunk in public at 3:25 a.m. in the 300 block of Hume Avenue. 

April 22 — An arrest was made for trespassing at 10:42 p.m. in the 3900 block of Old Dominion Boulevard. 

April 22 — A victim reported his chain-locked bicycle was stolen from an apartment garage at 4:02 p.m. in the 500 block of E. Braddock Road.

April 22 — A theft was reported at 4 p.m. in the 4100 block of Mount Vernon Avenue.

April 20 — A burglary was reported at 9:07 p.m. on E. Reed Avenue.

April 20 — Multiple assault offenses were reported at 7:26 a.m. in the 600 block of Notabene Drive following an altercation between several juveniles playing soccer and a group of teenagers. 

April 20 — A property crime was reported at 1:15 p.m. in the 300 block of E. Mason Avenue.

April 20 — A traffic stop at the corner of Old Dominion Boulevard and W. Glebe Road resulted in an arrest for driving under the influence at 3 a.m.

April 20 — A suspect was arrested for possession of marijuana at 2:41 a.m. at the corner of Commonwealth and E. Windsor avenues.

April 19 — An iPhone was reported stolen at 1:57 p.m. in the 3600 block of Jefferson Davis Highway.

April 19 — A robbery was reported at 3:12 a.m. in the 400 block of E. Monroe Avenue.

April 18 — A breaking-and-entering incident was reported at 11:51 a.m. in the 3800 block of Executive Avenue.

April 18 — A sexual offense was reported at 7:09 p.m. at the corner of Commonwealth Avenue and W. Myrtle Street.

April 18 — A burglary was reported at 11:35 a.m. in the 2500 block of DeWitt Avenue.

April 18 — A theft from an unlocked vehicle was reported at 10:48 a.m. in the 600 block of W. Windsor Avenue.

April 18 — At 10:19 a.m., a vehicle was reported vandalized while it was parked in the 3200 block of Landover Street.

April 18 — A breaking-and-entering offense was reported at 8:55 a.m. in the 3700 block of Jefferson Davis Highway.

April 16 — A chain-locked bicycle was reported stolen at 2:25 p.m. in the 100 block of E. Reed Avenue.

April 16 — An incident of vandalism was reported at 9:40 a.m. in the 900 block of Mount Vernon Avenue.
