Metro: Misdemeanor Sexual Assault at Braddock Metro in June

Nine bicycle theft incidents reported at King Street and Braddock Road stations last month.

Metro Transit Police responded to hundreds of calls in the month of June, according to the most recent police blotter. The following are incidents that occurred at or near area Metro stops.

Braddock Road Metro Station

June 26 — A bicycle theft incident was reported at 8:18 p.m.

June 21 — A citation was handed out for failing to pay a fare at 9:13 p.m.

June 19 — A bicycle theft incident was reported 6:44 p.m.

June 19 — A bicycle theft incident was reported at 5:25 p.m.

June 16 — A citation was given for an alcohol violation at 10:43 a.m.

June 15 — An incident involving misdemeanor sexual assault was reported at 5:33 p.m. 

June 13 — A bicycle theft incident was reported at 6:30 p.m.

June 13 — A bicycle theft incident was reported at 5:43 p.m.

June 5 — An arrest was made for being drunk in public at 11:56 p.m.

King Street Metro Station

June 30 — A summons was handed out at 1:15 p.m. for failing to pay an established fare.

June 28 — A warning was handed out at 11:21 p.m. for failing to pay an established fare.

June 28 — A summons was handed out at 5:46 p.m. for failing to pay an established fare.

June 24 — A summons was handed out at 11:51 p.m. for failing to pay the established fare.

June 21 — An arrest was made for trespassing on WMATA property at 6:59 p.m.

June 21 — A citation was handed out at 6:48 p.m. for failing to pay an established fare.

June 18 — A bicycle theft incident was reported at 6:15 p.m.

June 15 — A citation was issued at 11:06 p.m. for failing to pay an established fare.

June 13 — A bicycle theft incident was reported at 6:31 p.m.

June 9 — An arrest was made for an assault and battery incident at 1:12 a.m.

June 6 — A bicycle theft incident was reported at 6:34 p.m.

June 4 — A bicycle theft incident was reported at 4:41 p.m.

June 3 — A citation was handed out at 4:32 p.m. for failing to pay an established fare.

June 3 — A citation was handed out at 1:04 a.m. for failing to pay an established fare.
