Fairfax Man Arrested for Series of Burglaries in Alexandria

Jeffrey Lowery was arrested during a burglary in West End Alexandria.

Alexandria police have arrested a Fairfax man in connection with numerous burglaries throughout the city.

Jeffrey Lowery, 39, was arrested during an Oct. 23 burglary in the 100 block of N. Gladden Street. Lowery was charged with statutory burglary, grand larceny, possession of burglarious tools, larceny with intent to distribute or sell and for giving false identification to avoid arrest.  

Police had outstanding warrant for Lowery in connection with an Aug. 15 burglary in the 600 block of Putnam Place and a Sept. 9 burglary in the 700 block of Janney’s Lane.

Police said additional charges are possible.
