Sept. 3 — A theft was reported in the 3600 block of Jefferson Davis Highway at 1:52 p.m. The case is pending.
Sept. 2 — An arrest was made for assault in the 3800 block of Executive Avenue at 4:23 p.m.

Sept. 2 — A theft was reported in the 1000 block of W. Glebe Road at 1:46 p.m. The case is pending.
Sept. 2 — A vehicle was reported stolen in the 2400 block of Mt. Vernon Ave. at 9:32 a.m. The case is open.

Sept. 1 — Victim reported that an unknown suspect stole her cell phone, which she left unattended by the cash register at a facility in the 200 block of W. Glebe Road at 7:50 p.m. The event was captured on videotape and the suspect was caught and charged.
Sept. 1 — An employee of Virginia Dominion Power was returning to the installation when he observed two unknown suspects attempting to steal copper wire. The suspects fled the scene before the police arrived. The incident occurred in the 900 block of W. Glebe Road at 1:07 a.m. The case is pending.
