Aug. 30 — A traffic stop at 4:13 p.m. resulted in an arrest for driving under the influence in the 1900 block of King Street.

Aug. 30 — A suspect was arrested for possession of marijuana at 11:56 p.m. in the 3800 block of Mt. Vernon Avenue.

Aug. 29 — An assault occurred between two or more people who were known to each other at 8:13 p.m. in the 800 block of W. Glebe Road. Case is pending.

Aug. 29 — An arrest was made for trespassing at 2:14 p.m. in the 3800 block of Russell Road.

Aug. 29 — An arrest was made in an assault that occurred between two or more people who were known to each other at 4:05 a.m. on W. Custis Avenue.

Aug. 28 — A suspect was arrested at 8:23 p.m. for carrying an open container of alcohol at 8:23 p.m. in the 400 block of E. Monroe Avenue.

Aug. 28 — An assault occurred between two or more people who had a prior relationship or were known to each other at 7:15 p.m. in the 3500 block of Mt. Vernon Avenue.

Aug. 28 — A burglary was reported at 6:08 p.m. in the 800 block of N. Overlook Drive. The case is open.

Aug. 28 — A shoplifting offense was reported at 4:19 p.m. in the 400 block of E. Monroe Avenue.

Aug. 28 — A victim reported at 2:30 p.m. that an unknown suspect or suspects entered her unlocked car parked in her driveway in the 800 block of Beverley Drive and stole her iPod. The case is pending.

Aug. 28 — A theft was reported at 1:54 p.m. in the 3600 block of Jefferson Davis Highway. Case is pending.

Aug. 28 — An assault occurred between two or more people who had a prior relationship or were known to each other at 12:22 p.m. in the 100 block of Luna Park Drive. The case is pending.

Aug. 28 — An unknown suspect or suspects stole a child’s bicycle left unattended and unsecured in the carport of a residence in the 3600 block of Orlando Place. The incident was reported at 11:29 a.m. The case is pending.

Aug. 28 — Unknown suspects entered an unlocked vehicle parked in the driveway of the victim’s residence in the 700 block of Grandview Drive and stole DVDs and coins. The incident was reported at 11:14 a.m. The case is pending.

Aug. 28 — A victim reported at 10:44 a.m. that an unknown suspect or suspects entered his unlocked vehicle parked in front of his house in the 200 block of E. Alexandria Avenue and stole a pair of sunglasses.

Aug. 28 — A theft from a vehicle was reported at 7:33 a.m. in the 2700 block of Ridge Road Drive. Case is pending.

Aug. 28 — A suspect was arrested for possession of marijuana at 2:52 a.m. in the 3900 block of Mt. Vernon Avenue.

Aug. 27 — Two victims reported that their bicycles that were left unlocked an unattended were stolen outside a store in the 3300 block of Jefferson Davis Highway at 6:59 p.m. The case is pending.

Aug. 27 — A victim reported at 1:10 p.m. that an unknown suspect or suspects stole a bicycle from the front porch of her home in the 600 block of Little Street. Case is the pending.

Aug. 27 — A victim reported at 12:19 p.m. that an unknown suspect or suspects stole an unlocked bicycle from the front porch of his home in the 300 block of E. Oak Street.

Aug. 26 —A suspect was arrested for disorderly conduct at 4:13 a.m. in the 3800 block of Executive Avenue.

Aug. 25 — A suspect was arrested for possession of an open container of alcohol at 11:15 p.m. in the 3800 block of Executive Avenue.

Aug. 25 — An arrest was made for a drug offense in the 3600 block of Jefferson Davis Highway at 10 p.m.

Aug. 25 — An arrest was made for shoplifting at 8:07 p.m. in the 3100 block of Jefferson Davis Highway.

Aug. 25 — A female victim and her son were approached by an unknown subject. The subject attempted to remove a gold necklace from the son’s neck, then grabbed the victim and removed her gold necklace. The incident was reported at 6:13 p.m. in the 4100 block of Mt. Vernon Avenue.

Aug. 25 — A victim reported at 5:12 a.m. that an unknown suspect or suspects smashed the right rear passenger-door window of her vehicle and stole a pocket book from the rear seat while the vehicle was parked in the lot in the 2700 block of King Street.

Aug. 25 — A suspect was arrested for being drunk in public at 1:32 a.m. in the 3600 block of Mt. Vernon Avenue.

Aug. 25 — A suspect was arrested for urinating in public at 1:21 a.m. in the 3600 block of Commonwealth Avenue.

Aug. 25 — A suspect was arrested at 1:09 a.m. for drunk in public in the 1900 block of King Street.

Aug. 25 — An arrest was made for liquor and drug violations and a weapons offense at 12:02 a.m. in the 3400 block of Mt. Vernon Avenue.

Aug. 24 — A suspect was arrested for urinating in public at 9:45 p.m. in the 3900 block of Bruce Street.

Aug. 24 — A suspect was arrested for carrying an open container of alcohol at 9:24 p.m. on E. Mason Avenue.

Aug. 24 — An assault with a deadly weapon was reported at 3:51 p.m. in an incident that included a police cruiser being hit near the 3800 block of Jefferson Davis Highway. Case is pending.

Aug. 24 — A victim reported at 11:26 a.m. that an unknown suspect used personal credit card information to make fraudulent purchases in the 400 block of W. Glebe Road. Case is open.

Aug. 24 — A victim reported at 1:20 a.m. that his moped was stolen by an unknown suspect or suspects while it was parked in the street on E. Reed Avenue. The Case is open.

Aug. 24 — A suspect was arrested for urinating in public at 12:50 a.m. in the 500 block of E. Braddock Road.

Aug. 23 — A victim reported at 11:20 p.m. that he was assaulted from behind by an unknown number of suspects who kicked and beat him as he was walking in the 3800 block of Executive Avenue. Case is pending.

Aug. 23 — A traffic stop at 4:11 a.m. resulted in a DUI arrest at the corner of Mt. Vernon Avenue and W. Glebe Road.

Aug. 23 — A subject was arrested for driving recklessly and with a revoked license at 12:27 a.m. in the 4100 block of Mt. Vernon Avenue.

Aug. 22 — A victim reported at 9:13 p.m. that an unknown suspect or suspects stole a bicycle that was left unlocked an unattended in front of a store in the 2100 block of Mt. Vernon Avenue. The case is pending.

Aug. 22 — A suspect was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana at 7:04 p.m. in the 2800 block of Mt. Vernon Avenue.

Aug. 22 — An arrest was made in assault between two or more people who had a prior relationship or were known to each other that was reported at 6:59 p.m. in the 1700 block of Crestwood Drive.
