Crime Report: Arrest Made in Breaking-and-Entering Incident

August 9 — A breaking-and-entering incident was reported in the 100 block of W. Uhler Avenue at 2:27 p.m.

August 8 — An assault was reported in the 500 block of E. Nelson Avenue at 8:19 p.m.

August 8 — An arrest was made for a breaking-and-entering incident in the 200 block of E. Clifford Avenue at 5:10 p.m.

August 8 — An arrest was made for theft in the 3100 block of Jefferson Davis Highway at 3:07 p.m.

August 8 — The license plates were stolen off a vehicle parked near the victim’s residence in the 100 block of Dale Street at 1:30 p.m.

August 7 — Coins, a credit card and two packs of cigarettes were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the victim’s driveway in the 100 block of Stewart Avenue at 11 a.m.

August 7 — Vehicle registrations, coins, a toy laptop and bicycle cable lock were reported stolen from two unlocked vehicles parked in the victim’s driveway in the 300 block of E. Del Ray Avenue at 10 a.m.

August 7 —  A GPS unit and an iPod were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 2300 block of Burke Avenue at 9:01 a.m.

August 7 — An arrest was made for theft in the 3100 block of Jefferson Davis Highway at 4:52 p.m.

August 7 — Theft of property from a vehicle was reported in the 100 block of Groves Avenue at 10:50 a.m.

August 7 — Two liter bottles of coke were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 3300 block of Commonwealth Avenue at 10:40 a.m.

August 7 — A GPS unit was reported stolen from an unlocked car in the 100 block of Kennedy Street at 9:40 a.m.
