My condolences to the family and friends of Lenny Harris. I only knew him slightly, but this is a loss for the entire city. It's also very frightening. Lenny was a strong guy, and to think that he was snatched off the street in Old Town and killed is very disturbing. I hope the police find the people who did this.

Lenny was a great person, I got to know him when he had a store on Mt Vernon Ave, he loved his family, spoke about them all the time, worked hard for his money, devoted a lot of time helping others less fortunate than himself. He treated everyone with respect, he had a wonderful way of communicating with people of all levels. My thoughts and prayers are with Lenny 's family right now. A very sad day for our community. Rest in Peace Lenny.
