Alexandria Police Locate Suspect at Al's Steak House
Male suspect was arrested for damaging property at Route 1 Exxon station.
A male suspect was arrested and charged with destruction of property after being located at Al’s Steak House on Mt. Vernon Avenue around 12:40 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Alexandria Police Department.
The suspect allegedly damaged the front door of the Exxon gas station located at 2320 Jefferson Davis Highway.
When the suspect was located at Al’s Steak House, a multitude of police cars and officers on bicycles arrived on the scene. The southbound lane of Mt. Vernon Avenue was temporarily blocked.

The suspect was taken to the city’s Adult Detention Center.
The Alexandria Police Department had no further information.
