The AFD spokesperson said the occurrence of the blaze was due only to the incorrect placement of the main power line from the vehicle’s battery and that the fire's intensity had nothing to do with the Red Flag Warning issued Monday by the National Weather Service.

With strong winds and low relative humidity on Monday, the National Weather Service issued the warning because the conditions were ideal for rapid fire propagation.

The National Weather Service has issued another Red Flag Warning for much of the region for Tuesday from noon to 8 p.m.
