Become a Mount Vernon Community School Community Partner
Did you know that Mount Vernon Community School is a year-round dual language instruction school with 775 students from Del Ray, Warwick Village, and Arlandria?
Did you know that the MVCS PTA is a 501(c)(3) organization that raises funds to provide field trip opportunities, enrichment programs, after school clubs, Reading is Fundamental books, art supplies and much more to those students?
And to do all of these things, this COMMUNITY school relies on lots of support from our COMMUNITY PARTNERS. We are currently looking for community partners (individuals and businesses) to help us support these wonderful students during the 2013-2014 school year.
There are lots of ways to be a community partner. You or your business can:
- Donate
- Sponsor a field trip or enrichment event
- Sponsor an after school club
- Sponsor the MV Big Flea or other event
- Donate something to the fall silent auction or bingo night
- Hold a restaurant night or some other promotional event - get creative!
- Become a member of the PTA– it’s only $25!
- Be a "Box Top" drop off location for MVCS
- Be a point of sale for MVCS t-shirts
- Sponsor a teacher appreciation event
In return you get advertising, promotion, and lots of MVCS family loyalty. Plus, we know partnership goes both ways: you can rely on us to partner with you to support your business and activities throughout the year.
