Community Partners for Children is collecting school supplies and backpacks for over 5,000 children in
Alexandria public schools.
The school supplies, generously donated by
individuals, organizations and businesses, are given to the school social workers who distribute to eligible students at the beginning of the school year.
A green collection bin is located near the Duncan Library entrance.
