Friends of Arlington's Planetarium Auctioning Off Final Seat Dedication

Dedication of the last remaining Arlington Planetarium seat name plate is now being auctioned on eBay!

Five days left!

The Friends of Arlington’s David M. Brown Planetarium have launched a 10-day eBay auction for the dedication of the last remaining planetarium seat. The plaque will be affixed to the seat that is located in the center of the newly renovated planetarium. 

Proceeds will be used to purchase new digital, full-dome programs, training for Arlington Public Schools teachers, and a scholarship fund for students.

Bidding opened at $1,000.

As of 9:20 p.m. Monday night, nine bids had been received. The highest bid so far is $1,325.
