"Intro to Mixed Media" Workshop at Del Ray Artisans

Be brave, be bold and have some fun creating a 3D assemblage in this easy-to-execute mixed media class. Barb will guide you step-by-step to create your piece starting with a grid of 9 squares on the back of a 12”x12”x1” artist canvas. You will mix a little paint, paper and fabric; then build up each square with an assemblage of small personal objects or images you bring to class. After trimming the edges and adding hanging hardware, you will leave with a finished work of art.

PARTICIPANTS SUPPLY: Small items or images (9 to 12); maximum size 1”x1.5” (examples: buttons, jewelry, keys, watch faces, bottle caps, Cracker Jack toys, metal charms, family pictures, bobbins, wooden spools, holiday decorations, miniatures, etc).
