The Alexandria-Caen Sister City Committee is accepting applications from college students for a summer internship in Caen, France.
The intern will work as a tour guide in July in the Caen City Hall. Caen is the capital of Lower Normandy, France. A stipend of 1,100 euros and dormitory housing will be provided.
To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of college by July, be proficient in French and reside in the City of Alexandria. An applicant must also be able to pay for airfare, local travel, meals and incidental expenses.
To receive an application, email James Lewis by March 10. Applicants should take note that the internship is contingent on the availability of funding from the City of Alexandria and the City of Caen.
