Holy Cow Staff Does the 'Harlem Shake' [VIDEO]

Employees and owners at Del Ray burger joint get silly and record dance video.

The “Harlem Shake” phenomena officially touched down in Del Ray on Tuesday when Holy Cow posted a video on YouTube of its staff, well, shaking.

Co-owner Bill Blackburn said the employees had discussed making a “Harlem Shake” video for several weeks. They finally got around to recording one on Monday morning with the help of Dennis Belmont of Belmonster Creative.

“Del Ray needed a ‘Harlem Shake’ video,” Blackburn said. “Of all the restaurants in Del Ray, we’re the only one with a dancing busboy. So we figured there was no better staff to do it.”

Rayvonne Lewis is Holy Cow’s dancing busboy. He frequently dances dub step outside the eatery and is featured in the video.

“It was a lot of fun,” said Blackburn, who appears in the clip wearing a “Star Wars” storm trooper helmet. Fellow co-owner “Mango” Mike Anderson also makes an appearance in the 30-second clip that took about a half-hour to make.
