DRBA Hosting Crime Prevention Primer for Small Business Owners

The Del Ray Business Association’s Retail Committee is sponsoring a presentation from Maggie LeClere entitled “Safeguarding Against Crime: A Security Primer for Small Business Owners.”

A member of the Alexandria Police Department will also be in attendance to answer questions at the session, which is scheduled for 9 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 16 at the Mount Vernon Recreation Center (2701 Commonwealth Ave.).

“Since there has been a recent robbery at the Post Office in Del Ray, we thought this would be very timely,” DRBA officer Pat Miller wrote in an email.
