Discovery Time Learning Center Coming to Leslie Avenue
New Del Ray early childhood education center expected to open in 2014.
Tartan Properties announced Friday that construction is underway on Discovery Time Learning Center at 1509 Leslie Ave.
The work includes the installation of new windows and 15-foot ceilings at the Art Deco warehouse. Construction also includes the assembly of a 2,500-square-foot playground for children.
The 6,000-square-foot preschool is expected to open in early 2014.

Discovery Time Learning Center, founded and directed by Stephanie Harris, will specialize in early childhood education for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. Enrollment information is available by request.
