Del Ray Pizzeria to Open Richmond Highway Brewpub

The owners of Del Ray Pizzeria plan to open a brewpub as early as next spring on Richmond Highway, according to a report by Washington Business Journal.

The pub, City View Brewhouse, is under development at 6925 Richmond Highway.

The brewery and restaurant will be located south of Beacon Mall on Richmond Highway and will have brewing on site but also serve as a tap house focused on Virginia craft beers, Sean Snyder, who will manage operations for the restaurant, told Washington Business Journal. The spot will be large — about 6,000 square feet with seating for 150 to 200 the newspaper reports.

The Del Ray location, at 2218 Mount Vernon Ave., offers a variety of food options including pizza, pasta and subs. For beer lovers, the bar offers domestic, imported, microbrew and craft selections.
