Del Ray Farmers' Market Taking a Week Off

Some vendors will be selling snack items at Saturday's Art on the Avenue festival.

The Del Ray Farmers' Market will not be held on Saturday because of the Art on the Avenue festival, which will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. along Mount Vernon Avenue.

Pat Miller, market master and chief organizer of Art on the Avenue, said some of the regular vendors will be selling snacks at Saturday’s festival instead.

The Del Ray Farmers' Market will resume on Oct. 13.
