Cheesetique Opens New Dining Area

New autumn-winter menu offers hearty entrees and an expanded grilled cheese selection.

’s new dining room is open for business.

Del Ray’s favorite destination for cheese and wine opened the door on its new 40-seat dining area last week.

The new room, which Del Ray Patch , features the familiar yellow, red and black color scheme but with a more rustic feel.

The space includes a variety of different sized tables and a large shelf-lined wall with wine bottles. The addition, which doglegs behind ., also doubled the size of Cheesetique’s kitchen.

The new room is currently open only for dinner.

Owner Jill Erber also recently unveiled a new seasonal menu. It features new items like flatbreads topped with artisanal cheeses and hearty sandwiches made with ingredients like flank steak and lamb. The menu also has expanded grilled cheese and mac and cheese offerings.

Of particular interest is the grilled Swedish gjetost and banana on cranberry-walnut bread. Staff recommends trying it with bacon.

The new menu also offers gluten-free macaroni.
