Are your new health goals sustainable?

Are you slowly gaining weight?  Do you feel tired no matter how many caffeine drinks you have?  Are you addicted to sugar and carbs?  Do you find yourself taking over-the-counter or prescription medications more and more?  Do you feel like you are on a constant roller coaster of diets, weight loss fads and gimmicks and can’t seem to find the “answer”?  If you’re not happy in the skin you’re in right now, please take a deep breath and read on.

Who You Are
You’re a successful person in many areas of your life.  You’re smart, you’re motivated and you have a desire to be the happy healthy vibrant person you know you can be.  You want the dieting madness to come to an end and finally enjoy life and be happy in your skin.  You want to enjoy food and not see it as the enemy but you just don’t know what to eat and how to control the cravings!

What Your Issues Tend To Be
You’ve found the one diet plan that felt like the perfect fit for you.  You’re diligent in the preparation, you’ve read the book, watched the video, bought the food, the equipment and then you set the date.  You’re ready!  Week one, completed, but you’re tired, hungry, grouchy, you’ve lost a couple of pounds and you’re excited.  Week two, so much harder, you cheat a little but vow to get back on track tomorrow... Tomorrow comes, you realize that this is not going to work and you’ve “failed”, again...  You’ve put in all this effort and the results aren’t exactly as the program promised.  You know you can’t keep doing the same thing anymore because you keep getting the same under-whelming results.  You’re experiencing self doubt that you’ll never succeed at this weight loss thing.

Your primary focus needs to be on creating a lifestyle that is conducive to your weight loss goals. Having a clear realistic vision of your ideal weight and your goals is a powerful starting point.  It’s all about creating a plan for each day, each week and each month.  What will you eat, how and where will you get the food, how will or can it be prepared, and how much time are you willing to designate for preparing your meals?  Have a support system in place at work and at home, with you being your primary supporter. Start speaking positively to yourself.  Love the body that you are in right now.  Find positive affirmations that speak to you and post them for reciting everyday.  This is just the beginning of your Nu-You!
