Euille Swears in Alexandria Country Day School Student Council

Euille shares the importance of education.

Alexandria Mayor Bill Euille stopped by Alexandria Country Day School Monday, Sept. 9, to swear in its new student council members.

Euille, now in his fourth term in Alexandria’s top office, assisted ACDS Head of School Scott Baytosh with the ceremony.

In his remarks, Euille discussed the importance of education, the responsibility of leadership and shared that he received his start in government as a member of his elementary school’s student body.

Monday marked the 10th time Euille had participated in the event, which has typically involved the city’s mayor over the school’s 30-year history.

The school currently enrolls 204 students in kindergarden through eighth grade.
