Meet Stars of 'Remember the Titans' Sunday Night
Actual coaches and teammates of the 1971 team made famous in "Remember the Titans" will sign autographs.
The Titans are always on the minds of Alexandrians, but this weekend there’s an opportunity to honor the coaches and actual members of the 1971 team depicted in the film “Remember the Titans.”
Coach Boone, Coach Yoast and Julius “Big Ju” Campbell along with 20 fellow teammates will attend a screening Sunday at National Harbor at its free outdoor movie night.
The meet and greet begins at 6:30 p.m. and autographs will be available before and after the movie. The movie begins at 8:30 pm.
The movie is free, but donations will be accepted and proceeds from merchandise will go to the 1971 Original Titans Foundation, which awards scholarships to T.C. Williams High School Seniors.
