Five Nights of Tunes and Grooves

Del Ray Music Week kicks off Monday evening.

The sixth annual Del Ray Music Festival is Saturday, and once again the event has a preamble in Del Ray Music Week.

Each evening this week, local bands and musicians will perform at indoor and outdoor venues along Mt. Vernon Avenue, including the , , , , , and more.

More than 50 bands are participating in Del Ray Music Week, covering genres such folk, rock, soul, country, punk bossa nova, jazz and, well, just about anything else you can believe.

The Pat McGee Band is headlining Saturday’s Del Ray Music Festival, which will run from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. in the field next to . Other acts include Wes Tucker and the Skillets, Derek Evry and his band of Misanthropes, Chatham Street, Feel Free, Kate Moran Band, Jason Ager and Natalie York.
